We are welcoming spring this Sunday with our next film screening of "Our Water Ways: A California Tribal Story."
This powerful film tells the story of how California's First Peoples have always protected their sacred, ecologically critical rivers, lakes, and ocean—and how they continue to fight for them today. Join us for a viewing and panel discussion with @sacredplacesinstitute to learn more.
The film is in english language, with spanish subtitles and we will have live spanish interpretation for the panel. 🎧🎤🙌🏽

The summit aims to foster an open dialogue about environmental advocacy that spans the Great Basin, and with this new format we will be able to ensure these conversations are ongoing, providing opportunities for us to share knowledge, connect, and consider new futures together throughout the year. We will showcase successful initiatives to address challenges facing the Great Basin tribes, environmentalists, and other community members. Through this community time together, we will create actionable strategies to mobilize existing resources and strengthen regional relationships.

Inyo County Board of Supervisors Meeting
At this meeting, the Inyo County Board of Supervisors will provide final direction to guide Inyo County’s comments about the Annual Operations Plan released by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) for the upcoming water year.
Please join to provide public comment: this is the final opportunity to communicate to Inyo County that we would like them to advocate for reduced pumping in the next year!
Inyo County Water Commission meeting
Holly Alpert, Director of the Inyo County Water Department, will present on the Annual Operations Plan released by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) for the upcoming water year. The Inyo County Water Commission will discuss and provide direction for Inyo County’s comments on the Operations Plan.
